The Faculty of Arts at Yarmouk University organized a week for Turkish, French, German, Chinese and Spanish languages, where a special day was allocated to promote and hold cultural activities and events related to each language. As part of the Turkish Language Day, for example, the Semitic and Oriental Languages Department at the Faculty, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy and Yunus Emre Turkish Institute in Amman, organized an art exhibition, which included a display of miniatures by Turkish artist Aisha Nour and pictures of Jordan from the Ottoman Archives.

Developing competencies in various fields of science and knowledge through providing distinguished education and producing of innovative scientific research that serves the community and contributes to building a knowledge economy by creating a university environment that stimulates creativity, through freedom of expression and responding to the demands of society and scientific development.
